What to do when you're in The Woodlands, TX?

This question seems to get asked more and more considering how popular The Woodlands is becoming. There are many activities that this area has to offer. Some of them include happy hour, shopping, food, sports/activities, music venues/concerts, educational facilities (colleges), etc... We will briefly go over some of the top sportspeople like to visit when they come into town.

 What goes great with happy hour? Food of course! One of my favorites places to eat is The Park Tavern. They have everything from salads to burgers and tacos! I also love the happy hour specials they offer Tuesday through Friday from 3 pm-7 pm! If you're looking for a casual place to bring your friends or significant other this would be a great pick.


Magn Bowls & Salads are another great places to eat in The Woodlands! They have such a unique menu that I just love. Everything from bowls, salads, and wraps. Their happy hour menu is very similar to Park Tavern happy hour specials and runs Tuesday through Friday from 3 pm-7 pm. I especially like the $5 wine happy hour choices they offer (bottle or glass).


Another fun thing you could do when you are here is goes shopping! One of my favorite malls is the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion shopping mall. It's located near the stadium (Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion) which makes for a perfect day date! This particular mall has over 100 stores to choose from! Some of my favorite places are Victoria's Secret, Michael Kors, American Eagle, Hollister Co., etc... I also enjoy the happy hour specials they offer every day from 3 pm-7 pm. This mall is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am-9 pm and Sunday from 12 pm-6 pm.




I know this isn't a shopping happy hour but it sure is a happy hour! If you're looking for a family fun place that offers a little bit for everyone then check out The Grand Texas Theme Park located nearby The Woodlands Mall. 


Catch a concert or sporting event while you are here! If you're looking to catch a concert Walker Stalker Con is coming up on November 4th and 5th. This will be the only stop in Texas for this event so make sure you check it out! Y


The Woodlands offers many great music venues and happy hour specials as well! I personally enjoy happy hour with friends at Little Woodrow's. They have happy hour Monday through Friday from 3 pm-7 pm and all day Sunday (bottles only).  This happy hour is great because they have a large drink menu and cheap prices in general.
